Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and VerifySky. We have kept them readable, because terms you cannot understand protect nobody.

Last updated

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or pointing a domain at VerifySky you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

2. What the service does

VerifySky filters incoming traffic to the websites you connect to it. It allows ordinary visitors and verified search engine crawlers through, asks uncertain visitors to complete a short verification, and stops traffic it judges to be harmful.

Filtering decisions are automated and based on signals that can be imitated. We are honest about the consequence: no filter is perfect. Some abusive traffic will get through, and occasionally a genuine visitor will be asked to verify or be blocked. You keep full control and can allow or block any address yourself, adjust how strict protection is, or pause it entirely.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate registration details and keep your email address current — we use it for security notices.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

4. Domains you connect

You may only connect a domain you own or are authorised to administer. Routing someone else's traffic through VerifySky without their permission is a serious misuse of the service and grounds for immediate termination.

You are responsible for your own DNS configuration and for keeping your origin server reachable. VerifySky protects traffic that reaches it — if your origin can also be reached directly, bypassing us, that path is outside our control and we will flag it to you where we can detect it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VerifySky to:

  • Protect content that is illegal where you or your visitors are, including material that exploits children, incites violence, or infringes someone else's rights.
  • Conceal phishing, malware distribution, or fraud from the people trying to detect it.
  • Attack, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Resell or resupply the service as your own without a written agreement with us.
  • Deliberately generate artificial traffic to distort usage counts or billing.

We would rather ask than terminate. Where circumstances allow we will contact you first, but we may suspend immediately if a site is causing active harm or placing the platform at risk.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Each plan includes an allowance of protected requests and domains, shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed through PayPal and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not cut you off mid-cycle.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial periods unless the law where you live requires it, or we have clearly failed to deliver the service.
  • If a payment fails we will attempt to contact you before changing your plan.
  • If prices change, existing subscribers are told by email before it affects them.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep VerifySky continuously available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages, and faults happen. Where we plan work that could affect you, we will give notice.

We may add, change or retire features. If we remove something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice rather than removing it without warning.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, VerifySky is not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption — arising from use of the service, from traffic wrongly allowed, or from traffic wrongly blocked.

Where we are found liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using VerifySky at any time by cancelling your subscription and removing the DNS record pointing to us. Traffic then flows directly to your origin again.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law. Except in cases of serious or ongoing harm, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right. After closure, account data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law and disputes

VerifySky operates from Egypt and serves customers worldwide. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes that cannot be resolved otherwise may be brought before the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

This does not take away rights you already have. If you use VerifySky as a consumer, nothing above deprives you of the mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. Where your local consumer law conflicts with a term here, your local law wins.

Before anything formal, please write to [email protected]. Nearly everything is a misunderstanding that a conversation resolves faster and cheaper than a legal process, and we commit to responding in good faith.

Sanctions and export

You confirm you are not located in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a country or on a list subject to international sanctions that would make providing this service unlawful.

Language

These terms are published in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only; if a translation and the English version disagree, the English version applies.

11. General

  • Your Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
  • VerifySky retains all rights in its software, brand and content. You retain all rights in your website and your data.
  • If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
  • We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and account owners are emailed about significant changes.

Questions about these terms are genuinely welcome at [email protected].
